The Biology of Aging

We do fearless science to advance our understanding of genetic and non-genetic mechanisms that promote animal longevity. We also study how external signals that modulate aging regulate epigenetic changes and whether these conditions can be transmitted to subsequent generations.

Our research philosophy is based on science driven by curiosity. We employ a wide range of experimental approaches because we want to understand aging from the gene to the organism. Thus, we are always interested in team members who will bring new points of view. We love open and collaborative science.
